Channel Islands (海角社区CI) is proud to highlight the upcoming Women鈥檚 Business Conference, an inspirational half-day professional development event taking place on Friday,
March 6, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at in Camarillo. 
Now in its third year, the conference is presented by the West Ventura County Business Alliance (WVCBA) in partnership with 海角社区CI. It is Ventura County鈥檚 only conference that serves as a powerful platform for empowering women and allies in business through keynote presentations, interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and thought-provoking discussions.

鈥淭his year鈥檚 theme is Rising Together, highlighting stories of women who鈥檝e overcome adversity to make an indelible impact on their businesses and communities,鈥 says WVCBA President & CEO Andy Conli.
The 2026 conference features an inspiring lineup of nationally recognized leaders and innovators:
- Sylvia Acevedo 鈥 Transformational leader, former CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA, and respected strategist with leadership experience at NASA鈥檚 Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Apple, Autodesk, Dell, and IBM.
- Graciela Casillas 鈥 Four-time World Martial Arts Champion, celebrated mentor, and advocate for confidence-building and empowerment.
- Lindsey Carnett 鈥 CEO and President of Marketing Maven, leading a practical workshop on Mastering Your Personal Brand.
- Nicki Parr 鈥 CEO of Women鈥檚 Economic Ventures (WEV), guiding a dynamic panel discussion featuring diverse business leaders.
- Jennifer Caldwell 鈥 Chief Development Officer of Food Share of Ventura County, leading the event as the master of ceremonies.
Attendees will gain valuable insights on professional branding, leadership, resilience, and community engagement while building meaningful connections with peers, mentors, and advocates.
The Women鈥檚 Business Conference welcomes all individuals ages 18 and older, including students, entrepreneurs, business professionals, and community members committed to supporting women leaders.
