Jan. 18, 2022 - With the omicron-driven COVID-19 surge across the state, scammers have started to set up fake pop-up COVID testing sites in an attempt to steal your personal identification.
If you are in need of a COVID-19 test and see a testing center, never provide your social security number or credit card information. Testing sites requesting this information could likely be fake and scammers attempting to steal your identity.
