A ribbon-cutting was held Aug. 22 to celebrate the opening of the long-awaited Gateway Hall where President Sue Andrzejewski and Student Government President Emily Condé welcomed guests from the campus and external community, representatives from the º£½ÇÉçÇø Chancellor’s Office, and construction partner Swinerton. Gateway Hall Ceremony

Gateway Hall provides new state-of-the-art classrooms and labs and includes a Welcome Center and Enrollment Management offices to serve new and prospective students, interdisciplinary classrooms and labs for Math, Computer Science, and Mechatronics. Plus, a new coffee shop, Coastal Cup, on the first floor.

Gateway Hall includes many small gathering spaces, as well as private study rooms. The Mechatronics lab includes a high bay space to allow for drone flying. The view from the third-floor south stairs provides a great view of most of the campus looking toward the Bell Tower.

Marin Hall includes Student Business Services/Cashier, Financial Aid & Scholarships, the Registrar’s Office, and Math faculty offices. Shasta Hall includes a new home for Extended University and offices for Computer Science faculty.
