We are excited to announce that Gateway Hall is opening just in time for the start
of the Fall 2025 semester! This transformative new building represents a major milestone
in our University’s continued commitment to creating high-quality academic spaces
and student-centered services.
Gateway Hall Features:
- Welcome Center: A centralized hub located on the first floor for prospective students and families.
- Academic and Student Areas:
- First Floor: Classrooms and the Coastal Cup coffee shop.
- Second Floor: Lecture spaces, booth seating areas, small study rooms, and a shared breakroom space with views of the building’s lobby
- Third Floor: High-tech labs for computer science, cybersecurity, mechatronics (with drone-ready ceiling), game design, and mathematics.
- Tech-Friendly Spaces: Power outlets for easy charging at public seating areas throughout the building, as well as flexible study zones for individuals or groups.
Department Relocations:
- Student Business Services has moved into Marin Hall and their in-person services are now available at their new location.
- Units in Enrollment Management including Admissions & Recruitment, Financial Aid & Scholarships, and the Registrar’s Office will be moving into Gateway and Marin Halls with in-person services available beginning Aug. 13.
- and OSHER/OLLI programs will move into Shasta Hall later during the Fall Semester.
