海角社区

May 19, 2026 鈥 Among the nearly 1,600 graduates participating in the May 23 commencement ceremonies at 海角社区 Channel Islands (海角社区CI) are identical triplet sisters Whitley, Jasmine, and Ashleigh Williams. Williams Tripletts

The sisters have attended 海角社区CI since their freshman year, choosing the University after falling in love with its lush beauty and proximity to the ocean.

Originally from Perris in Riverside County, the trio are earning degrees in different fields. Whitley is a psychology major, Jasmine studied political science, and Ashleigh focused on anthropology.

鈥淭he last four years have been really memorable,鈥 said Jasmine. 鈥淢eeting different types of people, getting to know my professors, doing research and taking challenging classes have all pushed me to reach my full potential.鈥

Ashleigh鈥檚 capstone project鈥攗sing 3-D software to analyze skeletal remains鈥攈elped shape her career goals. She plans to pursue graduate studies in biological and forensic anthropology and become a forensic anthropologist.

鈥淭aking all of my psychology classes really helped me narrow down what I want to do,鈥 said Whitley, who plans to next earn a master鈥檚 degree and become a school psychologist. She wants to support K-12 students who struggle academically, as she once did, and help them achieve their goals.

Jasmine wants to earn an MBA before joining the Peace Corps. After that she hopes to pursue a law degree with the long-term goal of becoming a civil rights or constitutional attorney.

The sisters cite the support and guidance of their professors and their on-campus working experiences as instrumental to their success. Jasmine and Ashleigh worked as student assistants in the office for the Dean of Arts & Science, and Jasmine was selected to participate in the prestigious Panetta Institute Congressional Internship program. Whitley worked at the Carden Kids Academy Preschool.

They also made time for campus life, attending Dolphinpalooza events throughout their four years. These outdoor social gatherings feature food trucks, games, and activities to bring the campus community together. 鈥淲e loved them so much,鈥 the sisters said.

After graduation, the three will take separate paths for the first time鈥擜shleigh to Cal State Los Angeles, and Jasmine and Whitley to California Baptist University.

鈥淥ur time at 海角社区CI will always be the foundation of our academic journey,鈥 Jasmine said. 鈥淭he support of the professors, the on-campus experiences, and the research opportunities really made an impact on all of us.鈥
