At CI's annual fall convocation on August 20, President Rush announced his plans to retire at the end of the 2015-16 academic year.聽 "Over the past 15 years, I have been honored to work with innovative faculty and staff, creative students, and engaged alumni," Rush stated in his convocation address.聽 In the coming months, the 海角社区 Board of Trustees will begin a national search to select a new campus president.
