Zipcar is a car rental program that is offered to all students, faculty, staff, and University Glen residents.
Annual membership is $25 with rates as low as $10.75/hour - $87/day. Your membership includes:
- Free gas for all trips
- Secondary insurance included
- Maintenance
- 24/7 Roadside assistance
- 180 miles per day ($0.67 per mile after that)
- Reserved parking on campus (two Zipcar locations: A-5 parking lot by the Rec. Center and Town Center’s north lot)
- Join in minutes >> Apply online with a valid driver's license. Most people are approved instantly and can book a trip in minutes.
- Drive on demand >> Book a round trip car by the hour or day. Use our app to unlock and lock during your trip. You'll also receive a Zipcard.
- Return >> When you're done, park the car in the same location you picked it up from, then end the trip with with the app.
Under unversities, Type "Channel Islands" into search box and select º£½ÇÉçÇø Channel Islands (º£½ÇÉçÇøCI). Choose a membership plan by selecting the Student, Faculty & Staff, or Alumni button and click join.
