Check Your EOP Status

If you’ve already submitted an EOP application and have questions or concerns, please complete an EOP Application Inquiry Form. Our team will follow up with you in a timely manner.

The EOP application for Fall 2026 closed on January 15, 2026. Recommendations were due January 31, 2026.

Spring 2027 EOP Applications for New Transfer Students will be due on September 15, 2026, and Recommendations will be due on September 30, 2026.

Application Procedures

1. Submit a º£½ÇÉçÇø application through Cal State Apply.
2. You will have the option of completing the EOP application while you are completing the º£½ÇÉçÇø application. (Must select "Yes" to Apply for EOP in the 3rd Supporting Information quadrant of the application)
3. Attach the application fee or complete a fee waiver form (this can be completed online).
4. Select at least one person to write a letter of recommendation for you. Only one letter is required for º£½ÇÉçÇø Channel Islands; however, two are encouraged. This is submitted electronically via the . It is strongly recommended that letters of recommendation be completed by the deadlines of January 31^st (for Fall applicants) and September 30^th (for Spring Transfer applicants).
5. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application. You may apply online at the or the .
6. Submit the GPA Verification Form (for Cal Grant eligibility). For more information, see the .
7. Check your email on a regular basis; all communication will be made via email. Add eop@csuci.edu to your "Safe Senders" List or add it as a contact.

Acceptance to EOP will remain pending until our EOP Staff reviews your completed EOP application, consisting of the following:

• EOP application via Cal State Apply
• At least one letter of recommendation via Cal State Apply
• Confirmation of completed FAFSA or California Dream Act Application and Income Verification Form
• Confirmation of submitted GPA Verification Form
