Dr. Susan A. Andrzejewski began serving as the Interim President of º£½ÇÉçÇø Channel Islands (º£½ÇÉçÇøCI) on August 4, 2025. Dr. Andrzejewski joined the University in 2014 as an Assistant Professor of Marketing and has served as Dean of the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics since 2018, officially stepping into the permanent role in 2021. During her tenure, she has led numerous initiatives to strengthen academic programs, including launching a Business Analytics graduate program and developing new offerings in Digital Marketing and Accounting. Her leadership has been marked by a strong commitment to student success, curriculum innovation, and strategic growth.
Beyond academics, Dr. Andrzejewski has played a vital role in campus-wide efforts such as º£½ÇÉçÇøCI’s 2030+ Strategic Plan, WSCUC accreditation, and initiatives focused on understanding CI students' post-graduate outcomes. She has also been a driving force behind fundraising, helping to secure over $22 million in support of scholarships, faculty research, and academic innovation. With a background in psychology and marketing, and a deep understanding of º£½ÇÉçÇøCI’s mission and values, she brings a student-centered and collaborative approach to her new role. As interim president, students can expect a thoughtful, inclusive leader committed to advancing the University’s vision for the future.
