2. Review Admission Requirements

Upper Division Transfer Student Requirements - Students have completed a minimum of 60 or more semester transferable units or 90 or more quarter units
- Lower Division Transfer Student Requirements - Students have completed fewer than 60 semester transferable units or 90 quarter units and have completed A2: Written Communication and B4: Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning.
3. Information on how and when to apply
- Spring 2025 Transfer applications:
- Submit your online Cal State Apply application starting August 1- September 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (for all non-impacted programs)
- Admissions applications for Nursing is not available during spring.
- Fall 2025 Transfer applications:
- Deadline extended to March 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PST (for all non-impacted programs only)
- Transfer applications for the Nursing program is December 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
- Applications can be submitted online at .
- Late applications are NOT accepted.
When must admission requirements be completed in order to be admitted?

*If you have not completed all of the admission requirements by the required deadline, there's a high chance your application will be denied. Once denied, students will have the opportunity to submit an admission appeal requesting an exception to be made. Admission appeals are reviewed on a case by case basis, and it is not guaranteed your case will be approved. Pay a $70 Application Fee or Request a Waiver
- Fee waivers are built directly into the º£½ÇÉçÇø online application. Applicants applying for admission through º£½ÇÉçÇø Apply are provided an opportunity to apply electronically for a fee waiver of up to four º£½ÇÉçÇø campuses with immediate analysis of their eligibility.
- Unless your fee has been waived, you will need to include a $70 application fee payment before your application can be submitted.
